Our Story

The Owen Sound Animal Shelter is a no-kill facility located in Owen Sound. The shelter houses stray animals, as well as owner surrenders. Celebrating the end of 2023 with a smile for the hundreds who received shelter when they needed it, care for injuries and wounds, love and compassion and found fantastic new homes. OSAS is proud to say we saw 205 cat adoptions, 123 dog adoptions, 13 guinea pig adoptions, 8 rabbits and a budgie adoption for a total of 350 with a new leash on life. We are also thankful for the many lost pets who were reunited with their owners.

Every year we have had a similar success story since 1999.
